The dinner-debates of the circle

Since its inception in 1990, the Circle has held a dinner-debate every quarter, focussing on social issues that have been dealt with by some of the best – liberal – experts in the field, from France and occasionally from other countries. Accounts of all these dinner-debates appear on the French-language version of this site and together they make up a veritable anthology of liberal thought. We have decided to translate into English the talks that might be of special interest to our English-speaking readers but it should be understood that the selection is limited by our financial resources and not by any lack of merit or quality in the texts that have not been translated.
